Obituary for Virginia Dale Honeycutt

Funeral Services for Mrs. Virginia Dale Honeycutt, age 91, will be held at 2:30 pm Friday, November 20, 2015 in Harmony United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30-2:30 on Friday prior to the service. Interment will be in the Honeycutt Family Cemetery, Burnsville, NC at 12 noon on Saturday, November 21, 2015. Bland Funeral Home, Johnston, is assisting the family with arrangements. Mrs. Honeycutt, widow of the late Earl Honeycutt, died on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. Born in Waverly, VA, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Jennie Wyche Bailey Dale. Having made her home in Edgefield County for the last nineteen years, Virginia had endeared herself to many in the community including Harmony United Methodist Church and the Woman's Club of Johnston. Mrs. Honeycutt was a graduate of Radford University in Radford, VA. Survivors include two sons: Kenneth Honeycutt (Theresa) of Oak Lawn, IL and Dale Honeycutt (Jane), Redlands, CA; sister: Sarah Keeter, Waverly, VA; sister-in-law: Carol Ann Dale; and grandson: Kaleb Honeycutt.
